HIGHLIGHTS
The latest release of MATICS, version 3.6, introduces significant enhancements to improve operational efficiency and performance management. Key updates include the MATICS Multi-Site Application, which provides a comprehensive cross-site performance overview, customizable KPI comparisons, real-time production progress visualization, and automated BI reports. Automated task management now features scheduled and trigger-based tasks, ad-hoc task handling, group assignments, and reminders. The release also offers proactive material loss management during machine downtime with custom triggers and detailed event notifications. Additionally, line improvements include a new action menu for production status changes, machine line indication, shift-based OEE calculation, new widgets, custom views, and detailed stop event reporting. These enhancements are designed to boost efficiency, accountability, and adaptability in manufacturing operations.
Multi-Site
MATICS Multi-site application allows corporate managers to have a cross-site overview of their performance and compare and create enterprise-level standards.
The module includes the following capabilities:Configuration of the compared baseline (ability to compare between sites-Line-Group of machines-single machine)
Ability to define the compared KPI's - Managers have the ability to define which KPIs are compared across the selected baselines. This customization is crucial as it enables focusing on the metrics that are most relevant to the enterprise's performance objectives.
Ability to view and compare production progress - The application provides tools to visualize and compare production progress across different sites or units. This feature likely includes real-time or near-real-time monitoring capabilities to track production metrics and identify trends or disparities
Use BI enterprise-level reports to analyze the data in a more detailed view - Leveraging Business Intelligence (BI), the application allows for in-depth analysis of aggregated data from multiple sites. This capability enables managers to gain insights into overall performance trends, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions based on data-driven analytics.
Schedule custom reports - Managers can schedule the generation and delivery of custom reports. This automation ensures that stakeholders receive timely updates on performance metrics without the need for manual intervention, facilitating proactive decision-making.

Material loss management
MATICS’s solution offers a proactive approach to managing raw material and energy management during machine downtime, providing real-time visibility and actionable insights to optimize production processes and minimize waste.
A rule is triggered when the system detects that the machine has stopped, but there's still a signal from the dosing system indicating raw material consumption. This trigger will initiate the recording process for the downtime event.
The system allows customers to define specific conditions under which the trigger should activate. These conditions could include a minimum duration of downtime or a threshold amount of material lost before the trigger activates.
Once the event is closed (i.e., the machine is back in operation), the system will send a notification to the customer. This notification includes a summary of the downtime event, detailing the duration, type of material lost, and the amount lost.
