The Operator App' Pending Job Assistant lists the jobs slotted for the machine to which it is connected. Change the machine assignment to transfer a job to another operator.
Change a machine pre-production
If production of the job has not yet begun, you can change the machine allocated for the job by changing in the job form the assigned machine:
Go to Jobs > Jobs Report > the system will return a search form.
Click Search. The system will return the full list of jobs in all stages.
Filter the list to find the job.
Click the index number of the job to select it.
In the job form's Machine field select the machine to which you want to assign the job.
Click Save Changes.
Change a machine mid-production
A suspended job cannot be split, but its remaining component can be switched to be continued on another machine.
To change a machine for a job in active production:
Navigate to a job that's in status 10.
In the job's form, click the flash icon to open the Actions Menu (this menu is available in all the job form's tabs).
In the Actions Menu, select Suspend Job.
Again in the Actions Menu, select Change Machine. In the Change Machine dialog, choose the machine to switch the job to from the Machine list and click Finish.
As a result, a new copy of the job will be created with the amount left to be produced as its target. The new job will be in status 02 and will need to have its Job Recipe approved before it is added to the Job Queue and before it can be activated.
