The Job Queue is an ordered list of the jobs pending production. Prioritize and arrange the Job Queue for operators.

  • Operators view the job queue from the Operator App (tablet). They can view the list in order and easily search it.

Manage the Job Queue in 2 ways:

  • One Job Queue per machine

  • One Job Queue for a group of machines

The jobs can be activated in any order, as needed, so the Job Queue maintains operational flexibility but conveys plans.

Arrange a Job Queue

Note: The Job Queue is arranged for one machine at a time, unless a machine group has been created.

  1. Go to Jobs > Job Queue.

  2. Select the machine from the Machine Name list.

  3. Click Search.

  4. The system will return a list of jobs allocated to be produced on the machine. Only jobs ready for activation will appear (statuses 2, 3 and 11).
    - The list is ordered in ascending order according to the field Machine Job Order.
    - The job at the top of the list is the job next-in-line to be activated. The job at the bottom of the list is the job pushed farthest to the future.
    - The job which is currently active on the machine (Status 10) will be shown at the top, above the search results table.

  5. Drag-and-drop jobs to reorder them. Use the handle icon to grab a job and reposition it.

You can use filters and sorting to help you find relevant jobs faster.

  6. Click Save Changes. The reordered Job Queue will now be visible to all system users.

View a machine's Job Queue

  1. Go to Production Floor > Department view and select the department from the drop-down list.

  2. Click the Online tab.

  3. Click name of the machine for which you want to view its jobs.

  4. In that machine's page, click Pending Jobs (top-right corner). The pending jobs are listed as ordered in the Job Queue.
