FAQ: How do I transfer an incomplete job from one machine to another?
There are several ways to transfer a job between machines:
Option 1
Navigate to the Job Life Cycle Tree of the job (in status 11, suspended).
Click on the node and select "Change Machine".
In the Change Machine dialog, provide the necessary details and confirm the change.
Option 2
Navigate to the Job.
Click the flash icon to open the Actions Menu:
- If the job is in active production (Status 10), select "Split Job" and open the split job's record that's now added as a new job to the Jobs Report to choose which machine will perform the job.
- If the job is suspended (Status 11), select "Change Machine".In the Change Machine dialog, provide the necessary details and confirm the change.
