For each product order line, set how many are ordered in the Units Requested cell.
(optional) Change the requested delivery date as needed.
Click Save Changes.
Now that the order information is complete, users can proceed to convert the order to jobs.
Convert an order to jobs
Use the Action Menu to create jobs
The action Create Jobs converts an order into jobs. The action uses the Product Tree of each product to determine its production process and create a job for every precursor needed to produce the final product.
In the Order form (from any tab), click the flash icon to open the Action Menu.
Choose Create Jobs.
A job will be created for every product in the order.
Provided that a product's Product Tree is up-to-date, a job will be created for work-in-process precursors for every step specified in the product tree.
If a product has a default mold and/or machine, they will be input automatically.
Allocate Equipment
From the Jobs tab in the Order form view the complete list of jobs needed to fulfill the order. You can allocate machines to advance jobs to status 02.
In the Order form, click the Jobs tab.
You can update the machine type and either update or allocate a machine.
Once a machine has been allocated there are 2 possibilities:
For a machine type that does not require a mold: The job will advance to Status 02.
For a machine type that requires a mold: If a default mold has been enabled, the job will advance to Status 02. Otherwise, open the Job form to allocate a mold.

Follow-Up on Job Status
The Order form's Job History tab is for viewing the current state of every job associated with the order. It is for informational purposes only (there are no action operations available in this tab). Common information of interest is the target start time, the requested end time, units target, units produced and units produced ok--which means that the rejects are deducted from the units produced count.
