Use this component to view the hourly performance of a department's machines.
It uses a combination of a bar chart to indicate the count of produced units per hour and a line graph to indicate the theoretical target, so you can quickly see how well the department's machines are performing compared to this target.
The line graph's Theoretical target is the multiplication of the standard production rate (Cycle Time Standard - specified in the product's recipe) with the PE target set for the department.
The standard production rate is theoretical, since it doesn't take into account stops, rejects and so forth. Multiplying it with the PE target adjusts it to an achievable theoretical target.
The bar chart provides in addition to a visual representation of the units-produced count, the following statistics when hovering over each bar:
Units Produced - count of actual produced units (good units).
Theoretical Units - in this component, which focuses on the hourly rate, it is the number of units that are to be produced per hour based on the aggregated theoretical target of all department machines.
Performance Percentage - a useful performance indicator obtained by dividing the number of Units Produced by the number of Theoretical Units.
