Setting up machines and their parameters can be time-consuming. To make it easier, there's the 'Copy parameter' action, which copies the parameter from the current machine to selected machines, or to all machines of the same type --as you choose.
To do so:
Go to Setup > Site Configuration.
Click index #5 (Step 5 - Define Machine Types).
Click the index of the machine type.
In the Machines tab, click the index of the machine that includes the parameter you intend to copy.
In that machine's form, click the Parameters tab.
Click the index of the parameter.
Open the Actions Menu and click Copy parameter.
In the Copy parameter dialog choose 'All machines of the same type' to copy this parameter to all the machines currently included in this machine type category, or 'Selected Machines' to select specific machines that you want this parameter to be copied to.
Note: If a parameter with this name already exists on the target machine it will be overwritten with the copied parameter.
Click Save.
