TIP

Any change you make will be reflected immediately in the presented information on the Shift dashboard. For example, if you change the time range all information in the dashboard will change accordingly.

Setting the dashboard timespan

The shift selection menu (A) lets you choose between the current shift, last shift (the previous shift), yesterday's shifts (all shifts that started from midnight of yesterday until midnight of today), and using the custom shift option you can choose any day or shift from the last 7 days.

The information presented on the dashboard reflects the state of the production floor for the time indicated in the Last Update box (B). The system auto-refreshes the data every 5 minutes, but you can click the refresh icon to manually refresh the data immediately.

The time bar (D) lets you focus on a specific time span by sliding the hour stripe in any direction. The time bar is not displayed by default, you can change this setting in Dashboard Settings (C).

Filtering to focus on specific machines

To focus on specific machines, use the filter (don’t forget to click Apply). This will update the dashboard to present information about the selected machines only.

When there’s an active filter, the filter icon indicates this with a checkmark.

Quickly remove the filter by clicking the filter summary’s X control.

Component controls

Shift components are designed to help you examine and analyze shift production information in real-time through clear visuals.

Components can come with any of these controls:

	Changes the mode from table to radial graph.
	Alternate the display mode of the component’s output to a bar graph.
	Alternate the display mode of the component’s output to a pie chart.
	Alternate the display mode of the component’s output to a table.
	Show more, or less, information related to the component’s output.
	Export the graph to a printer or another output destination, such as PDF file.
	Available settings depend on the component. Duplicate graph – useful when you want the component’s output presented in different modes, such as bar chart and table. Duplicate the graph and set for each instance the mode. Data Labels – if enabled, adds data labels within the graph. Colors – if disabled, monochrome mode is applied. Graded color – if enabled, the colors set for the component’s indicators will be nuanced with different tints of the color to reflect how close or far the current result is from the criterion. For example, if the criterion “performed more than 80%” is displayed in a green color, dark green will be displayed for 100% and a lighter tint of green will be displayed for 80%. Graph size – choose between 3 sizes.
	Apply a local filter to focus on specific entities (machines, shifts, parameters).
	Remove the component from the dashboard.
	The options in the chart context menu depend on the chart type. Example options are to view in full screen, download as image file, download as .CSV file.
