How to define QC test groups

Updated over 3 years ago

Use the Quality Test Groups Definition tab to define quality test group names. It is optional to assign a quality test group to the configured quality test, but it can be useful for grouping and filtering purposes. For example, a quality test group named ‘QC hazardous materials’ could indicate that only quality testers with hazardous material testing qualifications should run the test.

To define a quality test group:

  1. Go to QC > Configure Quality Tests > Quality Test Groups Definition.

  2. Click the + icon to add a line.

  3. Enter a meaningful name for the group in the Group Name field.

  4. Set whether the group is active ('TRUE'), or not ('FALSE').

  5. Click Save Changes.

If active, the quality test group name will be available in the Configure Quality Tests tab's Quality Test Group list.
