Tracking production progress per manually set targets can be useful. It lets you see how production is going relative to the shift's global targets without going into JoSh specifics. For example, if the products are similar such as filling bottles (different bottles with different content), you can track the progress of how many bottles have been filled per the shift's target.
Go to Production Floor > All Machines > Production Progress
Click Settings and select Shift Target.
Click Set Targets.
Choose the department you are setting targets for.
Set for each machine its production target per each shift.
(optional) To add shifts click New Column.
Click Save. The Shift Target will be updated in the dashboard.
