Release Notes for version 4.1, release date November 2nd 2025

Updated yesterday

We are excited to announce the release of MATICS Version 4.1, bringing

powerful new capabilities, UI/UX enhancements, and a major upgrade to service call management. This release focuses on aligning machine views with the latest design system, improving operational transparency with advanced time-lines,and delivering a modernized service call experience fully integrated into MATICS Tasks

Key Highlights of Version 4.1:

Machine Page

Machine screens now follow the new Matics Design System, with a standardized header, contextual drill-downs, and widget alignment. From both the All-Machines view and Line drill-down, operators can access a redesigned timeline, refined KPIs, and a seamless navigation flow. Machine TV displays have also been upgraded for clearer visualization during shift handovers and daily meetings.

Service Call Upgrade

Operators can now create service calls directly from stop events, performance deviations, reject reports, or as ad-hoc requests. Most details are automatically filled from the machine and job context, leaving only the assignee to be selected. Service calls can be assigned to individuals or roles, ensuring faster response and better coverage.

Report Reject Modal & Automatic Flow

Reject reporting has been simplified with automatic detection, a dedicated reporting button in the Quality Log, and flexible unit handling including pallet-to-unit conversion. Operators can split quantities across multiple reasons, with each row logged as a separate quality event. Machines with cavities now include a cavity column for precise reporting, while manual ad-hoc reporting remains available through the machine screen.
